The Basics

All applications must be processed through the EASi system. When the EASi application has been completed, you must print the application, obtain original signatures and mail with 40% of the estimated annual premium to the KAIP office.

APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

The producer is responsible for the completion of the rating, handling of the downpayment and submission of the application. Please see the KAIP Manual, Rating Worksheet, Help Sheets and Supplement Forms for assistance. The producer should be aware that the final premium is determined by the Servicing Carrier based on the completed application, supplements and any inspections that may be performed.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS
  1. Applications are date stamped when received through mail.
  2. Applications are checked for completion and if not properly completed or required forms are not attached, it will be returned for additional information. This may delay the coverage effective date.
  3. Applications are assigned to the Servicing Carrier (National Specialty Insurance Company, serviced by AIPSO).
  4. The application shall be evidence of temporary insurance subject to the conditions outlined in Section 16 of the application.
  5. The Servicing Carrier will mail the policy and insurance cards within 30 days.
  6. All billing, claims and policy administration is handled by the Servicing Carrier.
  7. For risks with filings, there is a 15-day waiting period for the effective date beginning the date received by the AIPSO office.

- My Account Is Locked, What Do I Do?
  • Your account will lock if you have tried unsuccessfully to log in more than 10 times.
  • You must wait 15 minutes for the account to unlock before you can attempt to log in again.
  • Web Support representatives are unable to unlock accounts, they can only reset passwords.
